Locked In

Locked in on sound design, Project Storm continues.
Locked In

This week I made some significant progress on Project Storm. I’m getting closer and closer to having the full story arc composed and, honestly, I'm feeling really good. Famous last words, right?

This week I was able to layer in some brass, really define the harmonic rhythm, and work on the marriage between analog and electronic instruments. I’m still looking for the ideal cymbal patch to create the “lightning” moments. Sound design is one of my favorite things, but it can be tedious to find the just right patch, articulation, or sample library to bring your vision to life. Onward...
