Focused
With a clear intention, I continue to make progress towards publishing on Friday, March 13th.
Last night I started my mixing session with an intention: focused mixing.
From there I asked Claude to help produce a mixing checklist for me for the evening. I was genuinely surprised by what it produced: A step by step mixing guide for a modern cinematic orchestral piece using the plugins that I was using.
Not everything was helpful, but for a two hour time blocked mixing session, it was so helpful to have a guide and not have to start from scratch.
One important note, I didn’t neglect my ears… or my critical thinking. Every step of the way, I was cautious, reviewed the AI advice with a skeptical lens, and listened over and over and over to the tweaks I was making.
